Loud ear bleep
Im using plain old paper tape from 3M I bought at Harris Teeter and it works. I tried the cut pieces and had the same issue. I have also replaced the short hose with a more flexible hose, use a filter to diffuse the exhaust, and use the hose management system Stuart has suggested.
I just apply one of the end pieces of adhesive that I have cut off and that works to seal the leak for the rest of the night. That said, I do occasionally have what I can best describe as "tunneling," where the adhesive loosens and a tunnel forms causing a leak.
My first 14 months on CPA, I probably went through 14 different masks! Mostly on my own cost! Once the Bleep came out, I have used it exclusively and it has solved all the issues/problems I had. I agree, the Bleep is the best mask I have used as well! I had so much trouble finding a mask I could use/tolerate. Id also recommend looking at the hose management system Stuart recommends. I ended up getting a Resmed mask off Ebay and cutting the hose and replacing the stuff one. I tried a couple of things including using adhesive prep pads like they use for IVs and finally found if I use regular medical tape on top of the ports, MOST nights I can make it through the night without springing a leak.īecause of the long prep, I dont use the Bleep every night but I use it more than everything else and the nights I dont use it, I can really tell the difference. For a long time I had issues with the adhesive giving up around 3AM and Id get woken up with air blowing in my eyes. and Exhibits 4.1-4.14 ) were read out loud to the class ( RT 98-99 ). Sadly Im in the 2% of the population that the adhesive wont stay on with over a few hours. Eddie told LeBouef he felt unhappy when stories were read about his ear, Pam's.
